Belje, a leading supermarket chain in Croatia, wanted to enter the field-to-plate vertical by independently growing tomatoes. But with no prior experience and facing sub-zero winter conditions, they needed expert guidance to reach the goal of sustainable, year-round production. Our team designed and executed the end-to-end, large scale glasshouse project, from business plan, to training local staff, to post-project technical support. In just 6 months, the nearly 5ha project was completed. And for three consecutive years since it opened, the glasshouse has achieved its goal of 60kg yields per m2.
